To have been appointed as the first Headteacher of Graven Hill is a huge honour. It is not lost on me what a priviledge it is to open this school in the place where my grandfather served during his time in the army just after the second world war. He's nearly 100 years old now and I planted a tree in his honour in the grounds as way to mark his legacy.

Graven Hill is truly unique community and one that I am sure that I will get to know well in the coming weeks, months and years as we grow this school together.
