The government has a new Tax Free Childcare scheme and this has replaced the old Salary Sacrifice Childcare Voucher scheme for new parents and carers. Members of the scheme can pay into an online account, which the government will top up by 20% (up to £2000 per year), which they can then use to pay their nursery fees.

Vouchers
There are many different Childcare Voucher companies involved in issuing the salary childcare vouchers.
Childcare vouchers are a popular employee benefit available from most employers to help make your childcare more affordable. All you have to do is join your employer’s childcare voucher scheme and you can exchange up to £243 per month from your salary to use for childcare. Both parents can join their employers childcare voucher scheme to maximise the savings available. So please speak to your employer for more information.
